HOPE TOWNSHIP, NJ- Two passengers were killed and two were injured in a crash on I-80 towards Hope Township when the vehicle crashed into a tree on Saturday evening, according to NJ.com.
At approximately 6:00pm, near Exit 12 for Hope Township, a Chevrolet Cruze lost control, went off the I-80 westbound roadway, and collided with a guardrail and tree.
30-year-old Tyrell Walker and 35-year-old Tyshawn Langhorne, the two backseat passengers, died from their injuries at the scene of the accident. The driver, 49-year-old Terese Walker, and 53-year-old Patricia Snell, were moderately injured after the accident. The roadway at the scene of the accident was closed for three hours after the crash.
