MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ – 39-year-old tractor-trailer driver had a suspended license when she struck and killed a man in East Brunswick Tuesday morning.
According to local news, the accident happened at the loading dock of a warehouse located at 19A Cottage Lane at about 6:15 a.m. A 43-year-old New York man was struck by a truck driver when she was driving up to the dock.
The victim was identified as Uttam Sharma. He died at the scene.
The driver, Kelly Holmes of Port Norris, is facing charges of causing injury or death while driving with a suspended license.
An investigation is ongoing.
