GLEN ROCK, NJ – A car was damaged when a train struck the vehicle at a Glen Rock railroad crossing on Tuesday morning, according to Daily Voice.
A man’s blue Honda Civic was struck by the last car of a Hoboken-bound train at about 7:30 a.m. The bumper was ripped off the small vehicle and the train did not stop.
The driver was not injured.
New Jersey Transit authorities are investigating the incident. One of the eyewitnesses of the accident was a local public works employee.
It is unclear at this time, how the car came to be on the tracks.
