SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ – A tractor-trailer jackknifed on Interstate 78 due to the winter weather near the border of Bernards Township and Warren on Sunday morning.
According to Nj.com, the truck accident was one of nearly 200 crashes that New Jersey State Troopers responded to during the rainy and snowy conditions on Sunday morning.
A tractor-trailer was westbound when it jackknifed near Exit 40 at about 9:30 a.m.
The accident caused closures of some of the lanes that continued until about noon on Sunday.
No serious injuries were reported.
No other vehicles were involved in the truck accident, although a second accident was reported near Exit 40 during the inclement weather.
