ESSEX COUNTY, NJ – Three suspects were arrested after a police chase that left one person with serious injuries in Essex County last week.

According to Daily Voice, Police began pursuing a BMW sedan after it pulled out of the Brookfield Service Area in Bloomfield on Tuesday, October 6. It sped southbound down the Garden State Parkway at about 2:20 p.m., eventually exited and reentered the highway, still speeding. Officials’ efforts to stop the car were unsuccessful.

The vehicle finally took Exit 150 to Hoover Avenue where the vehicle crashed with an Acura TL. The three occupants bailed out of the crashed car and ran from the scene. Police were able to quickly catch the suspects.

The driver of the Acura was hospitalized with serious injuries.

Lachris Allmond, 24, was arrested for eluding, resisting arrest, assault by auto, and possession of marijuana. Noel Molina, 24, and Mia Martinez, 19, are both facing charges of possession of marijuana and resisting arrest.
