MOORESTOWN, NJ (BURLINGTON COUNTY) – Three people died in an accident involving an NJ Transit bus this morning in Moorestown, according to the Burlington Daily Voice.
The accident happened around 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of Route 38 and Pleasant Valley Avenue.
NJ Transit bus 317 was headed for Philadelphia when it was struck by a passenger auto containing the one male and two female victims. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the bus and another passenger were taken to the hospital for treatment of non-critical injuries.
There is no information at this time regarding the identity of the victims.
The circumstances leading to the accident are still under investigation at this time.
