BRIDGEWATER, NJ – A male teenager was hit and killed by a New Jersey Transit train on Monday afternoon, according to NJ Advance Media.
The victim was struck at approximately 4:20 p.m. by an eastbound Raritan Valley line train west of the Bridgewater train station.
Six passengers occupied the train at the time of the accident.
The train transit service was halted between Raritan and Bound Brook until about 7 p.m.
The victim’s identity was not released.
