ESSEX COUNTY, NJ – A teenage boy was taken to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Newark on Monday night, according to NJ.com.
The 13-year-old was hit in the intersection of Bloomfield Avenue and North 9th Street at about 9:30 p.m.
He was taken to a local hospital for treatment. An update on his condition has not been released.
The driver remained on the scene and cooperated with authorities after the accident, which remains under investigation.
