OLD BRIDGE, NJ – An 18-year-old man attempted to elude police but ended up causing a car accident on Route 9 Wednesday afternoon, according to Patch.com.
Officials attempted to pull over Gregory Kazdan after he was seen passing other vehicles at a high rate of speed on the shoulder.
Kazdan did not stop and ran a red light at the intersection of Rt 9 and Old Mill Road in his 2019 white Mercedes Benz.
He hit a 2014 Ford Focus with two people inside—a 42-year-old woman and a 15-year-old passenger. Both were injured and transported to a local hospital.
Kazdan has been charged with two accounts of aggravated assault and one account of eluding police.
