PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ – A 13-year-old was injured while riding a scooter by a 51-year-old unlicensed driver in Passaic on Saturday evening.
According to Daily Voice, the driver was in his 2009 Nissan Rogue when he struck the victim in the 800 block of Main Avenue at about 8:30 p.m.
The driver, Abel Perez-Perez of Passaic, received a summons for unlicensed driving as well as causing bodily harm.
The victim, also a Passaic resident, was transported to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center. There he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
