ESSEX COUNTY, NJ – A driver crashed through a clothing business storefront in the Central Ward area of Newark on Sunday morning.
According to local news, the driver of a small silver SUV crashed through the front of the Ashley Stewart’s store glass front window and door in the 200 block of Spring Avenue at about 9:35 a.m. The business is located in the ShopRite shopping center.
Authorities extricated the driver, who did not sustain any serious injuries. No one in the store was injured.
An investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
