SUV downs utility pole, closing part of NJ-208 in Glen Rock

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Multiple agencies responded to a crash Wednesday morning involving a downed utility pole that caused Route 208 to shut down in Glen Rock, reports Daily Voice.

The accident happened in front of 219 Harristown Road, off the northbound side of NJ-208, just after 11:00 a.m.

It was unclear what caused the crash, but the driver in the wrecked Honda SUV was able to exit their vehicle with no injuries.

Officers from the Glen Rock, Fair Lawn, and Hawthorne police departments were all at the scene, along with the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office.

At this time, no information regarding potential summonses or charges has been reported.
