GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ – According to NJ.com, one person died after a single-vehicle accident in Gloucester Township on Thursday morning.
The driver crashed into a tree on East Landing Road near Route 168 in Blackwood. When police arrived on the scene, they found the unidentified victim in the vehicle, which had sustained significant external damage, with the airbags deployed. The victim was drifting in and out of consciousness due to serious injuries.
After being extricated from the vehicle, the victim was taken to an area hospital where they died.
No other vehicles were involved in the fatal collision.
