NEWARK, NJ – A senior woman in her mid 70’s was struck by a car Sunday afternoon and suffered severe injuries, RLS Media reports.
The woman was crossing an intersection on Martin Luther King Boulevard and West Kinney Street in Newark’s Central Ward at approximately 6:07 p.m. when she was struck.
An eye witness flagged a patrol car and directed it to where the woman was was lying on the ground and semi-conscious.
It has not been confirmed if the driver or vehicle involved remained at the scene.
