BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ – A man riding an electric scooter was killed after being struck by vehicle in Westhampton Township early on Thursday morning.
According to Daily Voice, the victim was a man in his thirties. He was struck a by vehicle near the intersection of Woodlane Road and Indel Avenue at about 6 a.m. The force of the impact threw him from the scooter, and he landed about 100 feet away.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. His identity has not been released to the public.
The driver pulled to the side of the road and cooperated with authorities.
At this time, no charges have been filed.
