WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ- A downed pole on Route 34 near the Jersey Shore has caused a stretch of closures on the roadway on Friday, according to NJ.com.
In between Paynters Road and Atlantic Avenue, all lanes of the roadway have been closed due to dangerous driving conditions, a fallen pole and downed wires. The wires fallen are still live. The accident was reported at approximately 12:00pm on Friday afternoon.
The accident is still under investigation. Information on any related injuries is pending. We will be monitoring for updates.
