MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, NJ- A car accident that rolled a vehicle and also took down a traffic light signal was reported in Middletown Township on Thursday morning.
According to 511 New Jersey, the accident happened on Route 35 south near Woodland Drive at about 11:15 a.m. The circumstances are still unclear but it has been confirmed that at least one vehicle was overturned in the crash and a traffic signal was toppled.
All lanes were closed in the southbound direction for more than an hour. There were delays in both directions as drivers attempted to navigate around the closed.
At this time, there is no word on whether anyone suffered injuries.
