ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – A man was saved by a team of rescuers after being trapped inside a burning car in Atlantic City Saturday, according to 6abc.com.
Police responded to a two-car crash on Route 30 just before 4 p.m. and found one of the vehicles in flames, with a man unconscious in the driver’s seat.
Two fishermen who were at the scene managed to cut the man’s seat belt, which allowed two police officers and an emergency medical technician to then pull him out to safety.
Investigators said the 29-year-old Atlantic City man had gone off the road, hit an embankment and struck concrete pillars and a utility pole before being hit by another vehicle.
