NORTH ARLINGTON, NJ – An electric company worker was injured by a piece of construction machinery in an accident in North Arlington on Wednesday.
According to Daily Voice, a compact backhoe became unbalanced at a job site in North Arlington and started to tip over. The PSE&G worker tried to jump out of the way but the lower half of his body became pinned under the machine.
Other workers on the job site as well as a police officer on the scene, lifted the backhoe of the victim.
The victim was transported to University Hospital in Newark. He was alert and conscious after the accident, however, an update on his condition is not available.
