CAMDEN, NJ – Police are asking the public’s help in finding the vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run collision in Camden on Wednesday, NJ.com reports.
Lawrence Lloyd, 46, was walking in the 2600 block of Mt. Ephraim Avenue at approximately 10 p.m. on January 27, when he was struck by a vehicle and suffered severe head trauma. Emergency responders took him to a local hospital, where he died.
The vehicle that struck Lloyd left the scene without stopping, according to witnesses. Police believe it is an older red crossover SUV, possibly a 2001-2006 Mitsubishi Tribute or Ford Escape. The vehicle may have suffered front-end damage. Anyone with information on such a vehicle is encouraged to contact Camden County Police.
