GLEN ROCK, NJ – Police are looking for the driver who struck a bicyclist and left the scene in Glen Rock earlier this month, according to a local news report.
An unknown driver sped away from the scene of an accident on Harristown Road on August 20, just after 7 p.m. The vehicle had been making a left turn onto Hamilton Avenue when it struck the bike rider. While the female victim did not sustain any injuries in the accident, the hit-and-run driver did not stop to check.
The suspect’s vehicle was described as a small SUV, light blue or grey in color. It was driven by a young white female and carried a female passenger. Witnesses were not able to get a license number.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the police.
