According to Daily Voice, Hudson County authorities have released a description of the suspected vehicle in hopes that the public can assist in the hit-and-run investigation.
The victim was struck by the black sedan on Palisade Avenue near Bowers Street at about 9 p.m. The 31-year-old woman was transported to Jersey City Medical Center and is reported to be in stable condition.
The four-door sedan appears to be a 2012-2014 Toyota Camry LE. The vehicle has a missing right front hubcap and is registered to New York. The driver of this car fled the scene after hitting the victim.
An investigation is ongoing.
