BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ – Police are looking for more information about a Mount Holly hit-and-run accident that left one person dead last week.

According to Nj.com, a woman was found on Route 38 near Pine Street at about 5:45 a.m. on Friday morning after being struck by a vehicle. She died at the scene. Her identity has been withheld pending family notification.

The driver left the scene and local police are asking that witnesses pass any information they have onto the proper authorities. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
