HUDSON COUNTY, NJ – Police are looking for a hit-and-run driver that fatally struck a bicyclist in Union City on Monday evening, according to Daily Voice.
A 56-year-old man was cycling northbound on 48th Street when he was struck by a white Nissan Rogue near Bergenline Avenue at about 7:45 p.m. The driver quickly left the scene.
The victim, Marcelino Pilco, was transported to the Jersey City Medical Center. He died just before midnight on Monday.
Police are urging anyone with information about the fatal accident to pass on what they know.
