NEWARK, NJ – Authorities found a van that was abandoned by the occupants after an accident in the South Ward section of Newark on Sunday evening.
According to RLS Media, police responded to the accident scene near the intersection of East Alpine Avenue and Elizabeth Avenue at about 6:55 p.m.
When emergency crews arrived they found an abandoned vehicle that had crashed into a tree.
The driver and other occupants had fled the scene before confirming whether or not anyone was injured.
The Newark Police are looking into the incident.
