HUNTERDON COUNTY, NJ – A high-speed police chase through multiple counties ended when the suspects crashed on Interstate 78 on Saturday.
According to RLS Media, the police spotted a Range Rover stolen out of Long Beach on I-78 in Clinton at about 10 a.m. The driver refused to stop for lights and sirens and police began pursuing the vehicle as it fled at high speeds eastbound on I-78.
The driver crashed into the guardrail on the freeway near milepost 51.6. The driver and other two occupants then attempted to flee on foot.
All three were arrested and they have been identified as 18-year-old Aaliyah Richardson, 18-year-old Nalaisha Diggs, 19-year-old Kaileen Abreu. Each is facing charges for their actions.
The stolen vehicle was totaled in the crash.
