Police Ask Public’s Help to Identify a Hit/Run Driver

BRIDGETON, NJ – The Bridgeton Police have asked the public to help them with a hit-and-run accident from July 3rd that left a pedestrian seriously injured. According to NJ.com, the collision occurred at around 11:40 p.m. on the night of July 3rd.

A 54-year-old man was crossing East Commerce Street near Orange Street when an eastbound traveling motorist struck the man and fled the scene. Emergency responders transported the victim to Cooper University Hospital for treatment of severe head injuries.
