PATERSON, NJ – One person was injured in a car fire on I-80 in Paterson yesterday afternoon, according to local news sources.
The accident occurred on eastbound I-80, near Exit 57 at about 3:25 p.m., when a car caught fire.
One person inside the vehicle suffered severe burn injuries as a result and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
No other people were injured in the blaze.
The cause of the fire was not immediately released and the incident remains under investigation.
