BOONTON, NJ (MORRIS COUNTY) – A driver was allegedly speeding on icy roads when he crashed into a Boonton restaurant and injured one person, according to New Jersey News 12.
The accident occurred on Boonton Ave on Friday afternoon as a driver was going about ten miles over the speed limit of 25 mph on an icy road.
Authorities believe that the driver did not properly brake before he crashed into a restaurant.
One person inside the building sustained minor wounds as a result of the collision.
No further injuries were reported.
