Pennsylvania Resident Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash

FLORENCE TOWNSHIP, NJ (BURLINGTON COUNTY) – A person from Pennsylvania was killed in a single-vehicle crash on the New Jersey Turnpike in Florence Township early this morning, according to NJ.com.

The crash happened on the Pennsylvania Extension part of the turnpike near milepost 0.9 at about 12:30 a.m., when the driver of a BMW X3 SUV crashed into the center barrier.

67-year-old passenger Manjulaben Suresh Patel, of Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, was pronounced dead after the crash.

The accident remains under investigation.
