MERCER COUNTY, NJ – Three people were injured by a car accident inside a construction zone on Interstate 195 in Hamilton Township on Thursday night.
According to Daily Voice, a pickup up truck was driving eastbound when it struck a truck near Exit 3 just after 9 p.m. The truck then hit two pedestrians as they stood outside their SUV in the construction area.
The pickup truck’s driver and the two pedestrians were transported from the scene for treatment at a local hospital.
Though the accident occurred in a construction zone, it has not been confirmed whether or not any of the vehicles were part of the project. It is also unknown why the two pedestrians were outside of their vehicle.
