Pedestrian suffers traumatic arrest in Essex County accident

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ – A pedestrian was seriously injured by a hit-and-run driver in Newark on Friday night, according to Daily Voice.

The incident happened near the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Emmett Street around 10 p.m.

The victim was taken to an area hospital in traumatic arrest. Information about their identity has not yet become available.

A BOLO was issued for the vehicle, which was a white sedan with significant damage to the front end.

The accident remains under investigation.
