NEWARK, NJ – A pedestrian was hospitalized with a serious head injury after being struck by a vehicle in downtown Newark on Sunday evening.
According to RLS Media, the victim was hit in the 1000 block of Raymond Boulevard, which is near Penn Station, at about 6 p.m.
The victim was transported to University Hospital where they received treatment for a serious head injury.
The accident is under investigation by the local police department.
