Pedestrian struck by car, killed on Rte 130 in North Brunswick

MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ – A pedestrian was killed by a car on Route 130 in North Brunswick on Wednesday morning, according to Nj.com.

The pedestrian had stepped into the southbound lanes of Route 130 at about 10 a.m. when a vehicle struck him. The accident happened near the ShopRite Plaza.

The victim was transported to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver stayed on the scene and cooperated with authorities.

An investigation is ongoing.
