BOUND BROOK, NJ – A pedestrian was injured by a car on Route 28 in Bound Brook late on Saturday night, according to RLS Media.
Authorities responded to an accident scene in the westbound lanes of Route 28 near Interstate 287 a little before midnight. A pedestrian, yet to be identified, had suffered serious injuries when a car struck them.
An initial on-scene investigation closed the area for more than an hour over the weekend.
It is unclear at this time whether the driver stayed at the scene. The condition of the victim has not been updated.
