JERSEY CITY, NJ- A pedestrian was struck and seriously injured Wednesday night in a hit-and-run collision on John F. Kennedy Boulevard, according to local news sources.
At approximately 7:20pm, officials responded to reports of a critically injured individual in the interection of John F. Kennedy Boulevard and Harrison Avenue. Emergency responders arrived to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital. The vehicle, thought to be a maroon or red sedan, fled the scene.
The accident is under investigation. We will be monitoring for further information.
