WYCKOFF, NJ – According to news reports, a female pedestrian is now in stable condition after a serious accident over the weekend in Wyckoff.
A driver lost control of their truck while attempting to avoid another vehicle, struck the curb, and hit the 50-year-old woman. The driver was on Newtown Road and trying to turn onto Wyckoff Road when the accident occurred.
The pedestrian was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center. She is in stable condition.
The driver of the truck was a juvenile who cooperated with authorities. Summonses have been issued for careless driving and failure to stop at a stop sign.
The investigation is still ongoing by local authorities.
