MORRIS COUNTY, NJ – A pedestrian accident in Montville Township took the life of one person on Wednesday night, according to Daily Voice.
The victim was crossing Route 46 east at about 9:45 p.m. when a 2020 Volvo struck them near the Wood Stack Pizza restaurant. The driver of the Volvo stopped at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
The victim was transported from the scene to St. Joseph’s Hospital and later died. Their identity has been withheld pending family notification.
The incident remains under investigation.
