HUDSON COUNTY, NJ – A male pedestrian was struck and killed by a New Jersey Transit train in Secaucus in the pre-dawn hours of Thursday morning.
According to NJ.com, the Main-Bergen train out of Hoboken struck and killed the man at about 12:50 a.m. The accident near the HX bridge of the Hackensack River between the Rutherford Station and Secaucus Junction Station.
The victim’s identity has been withheld pending family notification.
The New Jersey Transit police are investigating the fatal incident.
