MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ – A pedestrian suffered serious injuries after being struck by a car on New Jersey Route 27 in Edison on Sunday morning.
According to RLS Media, the pedestrian was injured by a car on the 2100 block of Route 27 at about 1:20 a.m.
When emergency workers arrived, they found the victim unconscious and unresponsive. They began CPR then transported the person to a local hospital. Their injuries were considered life-threatening. An update on the victim’s condition has not become available.
Local authorities are continuing to investigate the crash.
