BUENA VISTA TOWNSHIP, NJ – A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle on Wednesday, according to Daily Voice.

Emergency responders answered a call about a pedestrian who had been hit by a speeding vehicle in 4700 block of Landis Avenue. The accident in Atlantic County happened at about 9 p.m.

Initial reports suggested that a helicopter was also on the way to the scene, although this could not be confirmed.

The details about the nature and extent of the injuries the pedestrian suffered have not been released.
