HUDSON COUNTY, NJ – A pedestrian was seriously injured by a car accident in Kearny early on Sunday morning, according to a local news report.
The pedestrian was struck on Lincoln Highway northbound lanes just after midnight.
When authorities arrived, they found the victim on the ground and suffering from severe injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Several lanes were closed while the police conducted an investigation at the scene.
It is unclear whether the driver remained at the scene of the accident.
