HUDSON COUNTY, NJ – A 26-year-old pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Jersey City early on Friday morning.
According to Daily Voice, the woman was walking to a parked car on northbound Ocean Avenue when she was struck by a Cadillac Escalade at about 1 p.m.
The victim received treatment for multiple injuries at the Jersey City Medical Center. She is now in stable condition.
The driver of the Escalade did not stop. Police are looking for information to help apprehend the hit-and-run driver. Anyone was information concerning the accident is encouraged to contact the police.
