TRENTON, NJ – A man died after he was struck by a light rail train in Trenton yesterday, according to information from NJ.com.
The crash happened on S Broad Street at 2:52 p.m., when a male pedestrian was hit by a light rail train headed northbound from Camden.
The victim, who was not immediately identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No injuries were reported among the train’s 30 occupants.
Light rail service was suspended until about 6 p.m. as authorities investigated the accident.
