PLEASANTVILLE, NJ – A 28-year-old man from South Jersey died after being struck by a vehicle on Sunday, according to the Daily Voice.
The accident happened around 4:38 a.m. in the 700 block of Black Horse Pike. The victim, Ryan “Ry” Mammoccio, was found by authorities lying underneath the car that hit him.
The driver of the vehicle that struck Mammoccio, 39-year-old Hoang Nguyen, remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. The incident was at least the seventh serious pedestrian accident recorded in South New Jersey this month.
No summons have been issued but the accident is still under investigation.
