BERGEN COUNTY, NJ – An overturned tractor-trailer caused a fuel spill on Route 1&9 in Palisades Park on Thursday morning, according to 511 New Jersey.
The accident happened in the southbound lanes of Route 1&9 near Bergen Boulevard at about 11:30 a.m.
A fuel spill from the overturned truck necessitated closing all lanes in both directions for more than an hour and a half. Traffic was detoured around the area.
