One struck and injured by vehicle on Route 4 in River Edge

RIVER EDGE, NJ- An individual who shoplifted was struck while running across Route 4 in River Edge on Thursday evening, according to Daily Voice.

At approximately 5:45pm, a shoplifter ran across the roadway of Route 4 and was eventually struck by a vehicle on the eastbound side. The victim was hospitalized at a nearby hospital shortly after and was then charged with shoplifting a few days later. No further information is available at this time.
