PASSAIC, NJ- A person riding an electric scooter was critically injured after being hit by a vehicle in an intersection on Tuesday morning in Passaic, reports Daily Voice.
The victim, a scooter rider in his late 30s, ran a red light in the intersection of President Street and Parker Avenue. He was subsequently struck by a minivan, who remained cooperative and at the scene of the incident.
The scooter rider was unconscious and in critical condition when firefighters, Emergency Medical Services, and Passaic County officials responded to the crash. He was transported to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center.
