NEWARK, NJ – One person sustained serious injuries in a two-vehicle accident in the South Ward section of Newark in the afternoon on Friday.
According to RLS Media, a man was extricated from a vehicle after two cars crashed near Weequahic High School on Chancellor Avenue at about 1:20 p.m.
Firefighters extricated the man, who was unconscious, using the Jaws of Life.
The victim’s injuries were considered serious but not life-threatening.
