NEWARK, NJ – A fiery multi-vehicle car accident took the life of one person on Tuesday afternoon in Newark, according to Newsbreak.com.
The accident, which involved a tanker truck and two other vehicles, happened when the three vehicles collided at about 11:50 a.m. at the Bergen Street and Madison Avenue intersection.
Flames engulfed all three vehicles as firefighters worked for 20 minutes to get the fire under control.
The fiery accident took the life of the male driver of one of the passenger vehicles. The truck driver was treated at the scene for injuries and no other injuries were reported.
The crash and fire remain under investigation.
